We are thrilled and honored to announce that SYGMA and PONTE SISTO have been selected for the Budapest Select – Patterns of Being exhibition. This allows us to represent Hungarian design at the world’s most prestigious professional event, Milan Design Week, this year.
Organized under the Creative Hungary umbrella brand, the exhibition showcases the work of 26 Hungarian designers in Milan’s renowned 5VIE district. In line with this year’s Milan Design Week theme, “Be the Project,” the exhibition explores the ever-evolving relationship between humans and their environment, reflecting on contemporary social, cultural, and ecological challenges.
We would like to thank curator Hanna Imre for the compelling concept, which presents the reflections of contemporary Hungarian design through five thematic units: Current, Aspiration, Fate, Circularity, and Responsibility. As imprints of the enduring cultural frameworks that permeate human existence, SYGMA and PONTE SISTO are featured within the Fate section of the exhibition.
